The training covers the following:-
  • why people use substances,
  • terminology around substance use
  • drugs and their effects including information about new psychoactive substances,
  • drugs and the law,
  • alcohol and NHS guidance
  • treatment and how to get help
This course has been written by Public Health Officers specialising in the health and wellbeing of children and young people
